Myers Roofing are a roofing contractor based in Skelmersdale, England. They cover all aspects of both domestic and commercial roofing.
We were appointed as the CRM and Website Developer for Myers Roofing.
The cloud-based system we created for Myers was unique, in that the brief was to fully replicate their existing paper-based system in a digital way. In order to fully understand their business process we spent time shadowing the admin team to familiarise ourselves with their tasks, and then replicate.
Their website is integrated into the system too; when a user requests a callback they get an SMS text message informing them that someone will be in touch in order to warm the lead. Their details go into the callback request system as a lead within 5 seconds of initial contact, starting the sales process. The system manages their sales leads, sales, customers, branches and jobs (live, pending and lost).
After the system was created, we suggested some slight changes to their processes to help speed up management. These were accepted by the company and built into the system without any extra cost. An example of this is the worksheets: ‘Fitters’, a user level with limited system access, are able to log into the system, attend their job and take photographic evidence (uploaded directly to the system and stored against the job). This removed a manual process using a third party cloud storage provider for office staff and made it much faster for the admin team to access all information for a particular job if the customer called the office by phone.
